6 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE TLC 2017

An Olympic-sized main event, a massive debut and a dream match make TLC a shocking success.

WWE's most-expected PPV in late memory came to town on Sunday night, as Kurt Angle came back to a WWE ring without precedent for a long time. Edge supplanted a contaminated Roman Reigns, while SmackDown's AJ Styles was flown in to take Bray Wyatt's spot.

Those moves made TLC a can't-miss PPV like this. And after that the occasion itself really satisfied its charging. While it was initially stopped as the gathering of the Shield, the gathering functioned admirably against their five foes, and Angle looked really amazing. Indeed, he was a stage slower than earlier and he can't take the knocks he used to, yet observing him in the ring was well justified, despite all the trouble.

Styles and Finn Balor must be scored superior to anything the first match booked, setting Balor's Demon against Wyatt's Sister Abigail. That had "risky trainwreck" composed on top of it, and gratefully, we didn't need to witness that match. Ideally, it'll be a long time before we see or get notification from Sister Abigail once more.

So did TLC satisfy its buildup? Indeed, considering that two greater matches had genuine changes, this was about in the same class as we could have sought after. Toss in Asuka's presentation and you have a PPV with couple of genuine negatives and a modest bunch of strong positives.
